After having 2 kids in last 4 years our lives have changed completely.
Now we are at a stage where kids are going to bed early to gives us some down time.
We end up talking, watching movies, tv, planning weekend activities and trips.
My spouse was never into board games but she surprised me by saying she is open to playing games.
We own iPads but are open to a board games as well.

This is my only chance to play games with her so I don't want to mess it up.
I am looking for suggestions for indoor games between couples.

Thanks

Blockus is really fun. We also play Ludo on the iPad. We enjoy a throw back once in a while and play Life.

Do you have a video game console? We like playing RockBand.

ETA There's a game of 1-minute challenges called Cranium Brain Breaks that's really fun.

Also something with a deck of cards called the UnGame - I got it for DH last year but we haven't played it yet (I'm not much into games either but DH enjoys them)

Bananagrams

Our retro faves are Clue, Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit

I am familiar with a few games like life, Luda, clue but not with the rest. I am assuming you recommend board games instead of the ipad versions.

I grew up playing games but I have not played any board games for years.
This is going toe fun.

Thanks

Oh yeah, there are so many great, non mainstream games out there that are often way better than the titles we are all familiar with. See if you can find an independent game store. They are a treasure trove of cool games.
