Need Help With Kids Picture Outfit

I will be taking the kids to get their Christmas pictures taken soon. Last year we went really fancy. This year I wanted sweaters and jeans. It will just be the two kids. I was thinking emerald green for DD, who is 9 very tall and skinny with dark blond hair. I found this top that I would pair with a dark wash straight leg jean:

But I don't know what to put Ds, who is 4, fair skinned/dark blonde hair. Would a sweater like this look better in cream or grey look better? Or another color with dark wash jeans?

I'm not good at coordinating for pictures! I do think that I don't want red, but otherwise I'm open to ideas.

On the sweater I would want to say cream but if the shirt on DD's is white then the cream might be off. In that case grey might be better.

I don't know how you feel about stripes .... this could be cute on your DS if the green's work together.

I'd go with a green and blue plaid dress shirt. Those aren't usually very difficult to find, and the blue will work well with the jeans. The green shirt looks a little dressy, and that sweater that you linked to isn't especially dressy. DS2 had it in red for our family photos last year. However, it's warm if you do photos outside, and I did really like it.
