Does anyone have this? Worth it? I've been toying with getting it for some quiet indoor play for my kids, and now there's a brookstone groupon making it even more tempting. (It wouldn't save me any money, really, but I could get a hell of a lot more sand for the same price, basically.) Should I pull the trigger?

following as I wanted to get my boys some as well and wondering what people thought of it. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

Well, I bought the groupon :) So we'll have a lot of sand in our house soon. Santa may bring it, I'm not sure yet.

I got the sand using the Brookstone Groupon last month, haven't opened it yet as it is a Christmas gift but my kids have spent 30+min at the Brookstone display for this sand and it is really cool (but expensive). The sand does not stick, yet molds.

I bought the groupon as well, $20 for $50 worth (had 5 groupon bucks) and it's going to be x-mas gifts, it's good deal, works out to $30 plus tax for 3 boxes (2.2lbs each) if I got them in-store. Was going to buy Living sands on Amazon.com (was 19.99) for 1.5lbs, so glad I got the groupon instead. My kids loved playing with it at the display as well. Not sure if I'd consider it mess free though?!

Yay :)
I'm going to get a small Rubbermaid bin for it to live in, so hopefully it'll contain the mess.

Anyone know where to get small sandbox molds? Besides the $20 ones at brookstone?

Thank you, OP! I've never seen this before and I know all three of my children will love it. They really miss being able to play in the sandbox during the winter and this will be great:) I bought the sand, the molds and the box.

I'm going to use recycled yogurt containers, some bath toys, little tupperwear, etc. I've spent enough on the sand, even with the Groupon discount.

I went to brookstone today. They had a deal where if you bought 3 items, everything was 15% off, but I couldn't use it with the groupon :( Still, we've got our sand, and I'm itching to open it up and play, but I'm trying to show self-restraint until I can get to target and get a bin.

I've been on the fence about getting this for my kids for Christmas...this Groupon just might push me over the edge!

I busted the stuff out today (now that we finally got a bin for it) and we cannot keep our hands off it! It's so much fun! The kids don't play with it for long at once, but they've each been over to it at least 4 times since ~3 pm. I'm glad I got it, especially since we could be snowed in tomorrow.

How do you keep the mess contained? My kids would be tossing it out of a bin in a hot minute...

My kids are 6 and 9, so old enough not to toss. Playing on a plastic tablecloth or something would contain it. And allow you to dump it back into a bin when you're done.
