...to find out that not only do I need to work more than my standard 20-ish hours / week...but realistically I need to work about 50 - 60 hours / week through the end of the year.
Granted, I'm paid hourly and set my own schedule with a client who is super flexible about my family commitments (preschooler with anxiety and sensory issues) so I can't complain too much.
It's just that I'd love, at some point, to just have ONE holiday where I could kick back and enjoy my family instead of racing around like a madwoman.
Sigh.
