Holiday Gift/Tip for Nanny

We have never had a nanny before but have had one for the past 6 months. She is with us 3 days/week for an average of 20 hours per week. What would be appropriate? I don't know if it varies by region. If so, we are in the midwest.

A week's pay plus a small gift from the kids is the standard in Chicago.

That's what I always did as well, on east coast.

In the south it's usually 1-2 week's pay for a full-time nanny, +/- small gift from kids. We usually do two week's pay.

This is standard. We give ours a week's pay ($750) + gifts for her, her DS and her DD. I typically spend approx $200 on the gifts.
