What ornaments are you getting your kids this year?

Every year we do an ornament for each child.
Stilll searching this year. I found some contenders on etsy.

DS1 (9) Minecraft creeper

DS2 (6) Pokemon (maybe pikachu... having a hard time finding something- anyone see some in a box and mortar store?)

DS3 (4) White pony (he rides a pony for hippotherapy)

i did etsy this year for both - little felt orange octopus for DS (he was an orange octopus for halloween and is obsessed with them this year) and cute little felt shoes for DD b/c she LOVES shoes. truly loves them.

Child ballerina ornament and also Sugarplum fairy. Both for 3yo DD, who is really into ballet and the nutcracker this year.

We bought a house in October, so we'll also try to get one for that, but I'm not sure what yet. It's hilarious, we have a "new house" ornament from family members for the past two years, because we've rented and had to move. Ironically we bought the house we rent, so it's ours now for real, but I still want a new ornament. And honestly, will gladly pitch the last two, since getting a "your new home" ornament for houses you had to rent after a divorce is not really a fun gift haha.

Lightning McQueen for DS1(3) because he's been telling people for months his name is Lightning McQueen.

Mickey Mouse in a birthday hat on a Christmas bulb that says Happy Birthday for DS2(1) because he spent his first birthday in the Magic Kingdom.

we never buy any because MIL does it..she loves to get her kids and grandkids an ornament every year. she usually gets something from the Hallmark store, sometimes QVC.

Hallmark has some Lionel train ornaments. My grandma gave me a box of her ornaments at Thanksgiving and this one was in there. It is diecast and has moveable wheels. DS2 wanted to play with it with his other toy trains.

DS (9): a soccer player with his soccer nickname on it. This fall was the first time DS really got into soccer, and his coach was great. The coach gave each boy a nickname, and DS's was the singular version of the team name (so if the team were The Tigers, his nickname would be "The Tiger"). It made DS, who has Asperger's and doesn't really "get" team sports, feel really special.

DD (almost 6): Lost First Tooth ornament because she did, a few days after Thanksgiving.

I buy a family one from a vacation we did during the year.
I buy each boy one with their name on it...#2 sleeps with stuffed pigs and I found a pig one for him. #1 picked out a basketball for himself.

3 Disney ornaments (one for each kid, Mickey/Minnie themed) because we're announcing our trip to them on Christmas day. I won't give them the ornaments until we announce. I also got our family a park themed ornament.

My ideal ornaments would have been a bookworm for Dd1, a swimmer for DS who learned to swim this year, and a roller coaster for Dd2 who rode the roller coaster multiple times this summer and is our daredevil! If anyone has seen any of those ornaments, please let me know!

I still need to find one. I usually get Hallmark, but I'm not loving any of them this year. The boys like the one with a little train that goes around through a tunnel. It's pricey though and seems almost too big to hang on the tree. Maybe if I find it on sale after Christmas then I'll get it for them.

I've never given ornaments to family members as a tradition, but last year DD gave me an awesome personalized ornament, which made me start thinking about giving them as gifts to my kids. The threads here over the past couple of months gave me the push I needed.
