Is Sofia the First too babyish for a 6-year-old party?

DD likes this show, and I like that there are so many elements I can work with--a magician, animals, mermaids, horses, etc. But will other kids laugh at this theme? Also, DD will be inviting boys. Now, my DS (9) watches the show with her, but he is not normal.

If you have a 6-year-old/kindergarten student, would s/he like a Sofia-themed party?

My DD just turned 5, but she is in Kindergarten. She LOVES Sophia the first and would love attending a sophia themed party, absolutely!

My 5 year old kindergartner loves Sophia too! The show themes are relatively mature - I don't think a 3 or 4 year old would necessarily understand everything.

I have a friend with a 6-year-old in kindergarten. She says her daughter is still way into Sophia the First, but she also says that she knows her daughter is a bit immature for her age. But my friend said she really wasn't worried about the other kids because her DD was into it, so that was that.

If your DD still likes it, go for it!

DS's friend is 5.5, a boy, and in K...and his favorite show is Sophia :) Otherwise he is obsessed with cars.

I think Sophia is perfectly suitable for a 6 year old. I think what's unsuitable is thinking that kids have to grow up too soon!;)

I just asked my 6 year old dd (in K) is Sofia was babyish and she said no...I think it's fine!

For her first birthday, it was 95 degrees! In January! The next year it was 60 degrees and pouring rain. Usually it's in the 70s.

DD (5 in kindy) would love a Sofia party! Heck, I like Sofia. :)

My 7.5 year old would love to attend a Sofia the first birthday party. She and DS (4) both like the show very much.

I teach kindergarten and many of my students are into Sofia the First! Not too babyish at all!

My 6 year old nephew loves Sofia and always watches/plays with his sister :)

They are getting a big Sofia wall puzzle for Christmas I found on Zulily! :cheerleader1:
