s/o what type of GC for male teacher?

This is the first time we've had a male teacher and I was wondering what types of GCs they might like. I like to keep Christmas gifts to $15.

These come to mind:
Target
Starbucks

I don't really know what restaurants they like or whether they would use specific movie tix since they live in different cities.

Any other practical ideas? I'll attach it to a small bag of good chocolates.

I would do either of your suggestions of if there is any local version of Starbucks, snack, lunch or treat place located near the school I'd do that.

Frozen yogurt place?
We have a new Racetrac gas/convenient store in our neighborhood. I would do that for a male teacher here. They can get a coffee, gas, food, frozen yogurt...

I always do a Visa gift card from my bank. The bank doesn't charge a fee, and the recipient can spend the money anywhere that accepts Visa.

Starbucks or local place, Visa if you don't have to pay a fee, amazon or local bookstore. For $15 I would pass on REI or similar since fewer things there for that amount and shipping isn't free unless you spend more generally. I don't think I would do much different for a male teacher.

Here's something about iTunes though. I was about to buy one for our male teacher since I know he's into music but he doesn't have an iphone nor does he use Apple products.

I gave ours a book about presidents for his classroom ( he loves history and presidents) and a gift card to wegmans.

My husband said Amazon -- so that's what I did. I would have picked Target - but I went with the male vote on this one.

Target. barnes & Noble. Those are my favorite gift cards for teachers, and also work for both genders. Bonus!

Great ideas! I think I'll save Amazon for end of the year because we give a bigger gc at that time.

I'd agree. I don't have any idea what types of phones any of my kids teachers have. iTunes is so specific of a card, I'd skip it.
