Quick help please: Tags on or off

Our school is proving holiday gifts for a homeless family. I bought clothes for a ten year old girl at ON. I have a gift receipt I am planning to include so they can exchange if they want to. I was told wrapping is optional, but if I don't wrap, the gifts may not get wrapped at all. I bought gift boxes and will tie with ribbon so the mom can peek without ruining the "wrapping". Should I leave the tags on or cut them off? Or cut just the price part off?

I would just cut the price part off to make any returns or exchanges easier.

Definitely just cut the price section off, it's usually perforated. I thing that holds true for any gift. You're awfully nice to wrap them.

Okay, we will take the price portion off. Ds is going to help me wrap this afternoon and we will drop them off.

cut the price tag, but leave the tag on. I like to tape the receipt to the tag.
