recommend a men's groomer?

I am looking for a groomer (shaver) for DH to remove some chest hair and other hair ... he is a hairy beast and I prefer some of it tamed ... so does he. So not something that will shave it down to 0 or small stubble but will go from say 1" to 1/2 inch ... any suggestions?

I would just buy some regular clippers with a bunch of guards.
