Yeah, pneumonia sucks. My DD has had it (another fun effect of prematurity). The good news is, once she started meds she bounced back very quickly. I hope the same holds true for your DD!

Continued prayers! Dd had pneumonia when she was not quite two and it was terrifying, but once they got the right antibiotics into her she turned around fast.

I'm a bit late to this, but I'm glad that you know what you're dealing with and that there is a way to fix it. DD had pneumonia once and while it was scary, if I recall correctly, once the antibiotics kicked in, her recovery was fairly quick and smooth after that. Hopefully you'll all be much healthier by Christmas!

thanks, guys. she is positive for RSV, so obviously this must have all started with DS contracting the RSV that lead to his crazy downward spiral all of last week. he's still home from school running fever.

all i want for christmas is healthy kids. seriously. that is all i would want more than anything in the world.

Oh RSV sucks! Younger DD had it as an infant. Older DD brought it home from kindergarten!

Hope she feels better soon! My DS is 2 and has been hospitalized five times for RSV. He was a preemie and has lung damage so he is super susceptible. RSV is scary stuff!!!
