Cruise 101 -how did you get to Port Canaveral

We would like to go a day early to see the space center. Are we crazy? We loved the magic carpet treatment at the resort.

Well, we had 6 people, so we rented a minivan one way. So 2 rentals, one on embarkment day and one on departure day.

Beth who did you use for the one way rental? I assume it was from MCO to PC? !

We used National. I think they are probably the least convenient :) but DH has super status with National so that's who he wanted to use.

But they were easy to find and the shuttle was quick.

Can we do the Disney transportation one way (return)?

I am pretty sure you can do the Disney transport one way.

You mean tour the Center the same morning you board the ship? What is your Port Arrival Time?

In general, you want to be on the boat the absolute earliest you possibly can. We had a PAT of 11:30. BY 12 we were on the boat, sitting by the pool, eating lunch, and then rode the Aquaduck a couple times. By 2:00, you couldn't even WALK by the pool it was so crowded and the line for the Aquaduck was huge!!!

After lunch and the Aquaduck, we toured the kid clubs and got the kids comfortable there.
