View Full Version : ISO list of paperwork that needs to be saved and for how long

The bill paying thread made me think of this...DH and I are need of a big filing overhaul. We have run out of room in our filing drawers in the office and I am sure a lot of this paperwork doesn't need to be saved anymore. I know the big things to save - tax returns, house documents, etc., but am always unsure of the small stuff (utility bills, paystubs etc). I have a list of how long to save what from a few years back but not sure if it is current since so much is done online now and can be accessed that way.

Anyone have a good current list they use? Thanks!
