Any way to save money on a Bitty Baby?

DD loves dolls and I'm considering a Bitty Baby for her 3rd birthday coming up. I'm on the fence about spending so much on a doll. Are there any ways to save money on these? Are there alternatives that are noteworthy?

There are a lot of pages on FB where people sale AG items and I see Bitty Baby all the time. Check out American Girl Resale in the US. or you can always look on Ebay. Other than that, I don't think they are ever discounted.
