I bought a todays special around 10 years ago and they have been great. I should probably add more....I have my nicer things on these hangers but, have my grab and go stuff on the cheap hangers. I think these are the original and now it seems they have this type everywhere. When I got them Joy Mangano was the only one. HSN has a lot of configurations so you do't have to get this set but it does have 48 hangers plus extras. I think some of the sets with just the hangers are around the same price. What I love about these is that they don't make those pointy shoulder marks like some hangers do. You can even hang your sweaters! Silky things don't slip off. You can hang up things damp and the clothes keep their shape. When I got them they didn't have as many choices (maybe 5 color and only brass hooks) I have the linen with brass and they are nice. My mother has one of the tan colors with brass (I think camel) and they look good too. If you want to add over time you may not one of the trendy colors as they tend to change those. I love black but, I don't think they had those back when. Good Luck!

Costco sells Joy Magano-like ones in black. 50 for ~$15 in store. They have 100 for $50 (shipping included) on their website. The in-store price is the cheapest I've seen for this type of hanger.

Are the Costco ones sturdy? I bought so off brand ones at home goods and several have snapped in half :(
