How old are your kids that play Leap Pad? DD1 (7) has one and still likes to play, but we just bought 3 new games/books for it, so I won't need to add new ones for a bit yet. She sometimes lets her younger sister (5) play as well. I'm all about getting in on a good deal but I don't want to buy and then not use because they've grown out of wanting to play it. FWIW, we don't have any other tablets that are just for the kids. I have a Nexus 7 but its mainly mine, though I do have a few educational games on it for them to play occasionally. And they play starfall.com and pbskids.org on my old laptop. We're so old school here!

We have the original leap pads (3 of them) and my kiddos love them. The boys just got new ipad minis for my DS1's b-day but DD still plays with the leap pads. I'm thinking about selling all three of them and getting her the newest leap pad. That wi-fi option is very tempting (no having to plug it up to my computer to update the purchases?! YES!) but I know she'd love a leap pad 2 in a Princess theme too.

I just got mine yesterday and right now, it can be combined with the code SHINE which takes $5 off a $20 purchase at the leapfrog app store. It works until the 21st I believe. It was great got 3 games for my $20 card, so in total $25 for $9. Prett hard to beat and my kids were thrilled.
