Does this scream holidays?

Picked it up today at the thrift store and I really like it, but is it pretty much Christmasy? Any recommendations of what to wear with it that would be less holidayish?

I don't think it's too Christmasy at all. Red-and-black plaid is classic and not something I necessarily associate with Christmas (I think of red and green plaid as more Christmasy, but this looks like it is primarily red and black with a little blue? hard to tell in the picture). Could you wear it with dark skinny jeans? And maybe brown boots? I'm thinking the denim and brown boots would move the outfit farther from the holiday color scheme than would, say, black leggings and boots. And jeans and brown boots would also make me think more western than holiday. I'm not great with fashion, though, so maybe someone else will chime in!

I think you could tone it down a bit with a long black cardigan layered over it and dark skinny jeans or leggings and boots.

I agree with missholly. If I'm seeing correctly that's blue, not green? I don't think it looks Christmasy at all. Jeans or leggings and boots will make it casual/street. I think it's cute.

Do stay away from green leggings and pointed shoes. ;)

Yes, it has a bit of blue. I think brown boots would be nice. I am glad no one thinks it is super christmasy. Thanks guys!

Thanks guys, I wore this (although the sweater looks more brown IRL) the other day and really liked it. Also a skinny brown belt.
