I have been asked to purchase an educational toy for a five year old, on behalf of my parents. They want something that will help with vocabulary, mainly, since he's learning English as a second language. He's very bright, though, so it doesn't have to be remedial.

Book ideas are also welcome.

It's been awhile. :)

Does he have access to an ipad or iPod? If so, how about an iTunes GC. I'm amazed by what my kids learn
