LL bean has their winter gear on sale for 20% for the next few days. I just received a catalog today with a 20% code on the back and it allowed me to use both discounts. In addition, I received a "reminder" email that I had a $10 promotional card, which I was also allowed to use. (I returned the items so figured I wouldn't be able to use the card, but it let me). So I got the X-large inner tube, the saucer sled, and a pair of sleep shorts for $110. :boogie:
I have been eyeing those sleds but waited to pull the trigger because we didn't know where we were moving but we *just* found out we are staying in the cold, snowy midwest so I upgraded our sleds. Those $10 Wal-mart sleds aren't going to make it 3 more years and definitely don't allow for either me or DH to sled with DD-DH put a crack in it on his first trip down the mini hill in the backyard. Plus the inner tubes give me a little more cushioning in my old age ;)
