My watch just broke. What watch do you wear? I'm looking for some ideas. I need waterproof. Thanks!

Watch? What's that? Lol.

I wear an Ebel I've had for over 20 years! It's water resistant and not dressy. It's mostly stainless with some yellow gold accents so it goes with whatever jewelry I'm wearing. It's a good watch.

I have a Timex Ironman that I bought almost 10 years ago. I know I've spent more on replacement bands than I did on this watch, lol. It's an analog, but also has a digital display. I got it for running because it has a stop watch and lap counter.

It's water resistant. Which means I could get rained on, but I wouldn't go swimming with it, esp. after changing the battery.

Hmm, mine aren't waterproof just water resistant. I have a Bulova gold tone that I've had since 1997 and a Bulova silver with floating crystals in the band that DH gave me for xmas or anniversary probably 8 or 9 years ago. http://www.bulova.com/en_us/watch/bulova/crystal--2/96T15 It looks fancier than it is...I wear it with everything. Both get regular wear and hold up great.

I wear a two tone Raymond Weil watch. I love it - it can be dressed up or down.

I got a stainless steel Swatch about a year ago when my fancy watch broke - hoping that eventually I will be able to afford the $600 repair... I really like the swatch. It looks decent and it's worry free.

i dont have a nice one. a timex ironman that i got from meijer. but i do use it every day. it wakes me up, i cook with it, etc. i never take it off bc im lame and i would forget to put it back on. the bands last longer bc of this.

(i also never fold my eyeglasses and i have found that that REALLY extends the life of the frames.)

Movado Series 800. It's waterproof (not only water resistant) and casual enough to wear every day while still being nice enough to match a dressy attire.

I have a Bulova, which is DH's preferred brand behind Rolex (which is unlikely to happen until the Powerball gods finally listen to our plea). I'm assuming it's water resistant, but not waterproof.

For waterproof, I'm kind of embarrassed to admit what I used to wear... I totally rocked the Timex Kids watches. Granted, I worked in a pediatrician's office, so the kids thought all my fun watches were cool. But not the most mature timepieces ;)

Watch?
Lol. I have a Timex Ironman that I wear only while teaching so I keep my lecturing on time. Otherwise, I have no need of a watch...

DH gifted me an Omega Seamaster last year that I wear all the time. It's waterproof so I keep it on when we go swimming in the pool or nearby lake.

I wear a Tag Heuer in the pool!

Yeah that. I have the least expensive tag heuer (I think it's the lync) and I love it. I've had it for 7 years. I have worn it while I give the girls a bath and have had to jump in the pool once with it on (dd1 fell in the pool and I dived in to grab her fully clothed). Never an issue. I love that watch. Worth every penny

I considered a Tag for Christmas -- DH was suggesting it. I don't wear one and don't want to. :)

Another Timex ironman here. I use the lap counter on it for running and for swimming and the timer for time outs. My kids ask me to set the timer all the time to help them "share" toys. I wear it while I do dishes and bath too. I paid about 14.99 on amazon about 2.5 years ago. I keep hoping it will die so I can get a new color but it just keeps trucking!

I should say I can wear this swimming (though I usually take it off if I'm really swimming rather than lounging about in the pool) and in the shower/tub, but I think if you scuba dive with it or something, it will get ruined. It's not a watch designed for water sports.

I have this watch: http://www.amazon.com/Womens-Victorinox-Swiss-Army-Chronograph/dp/B000O6L7BG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

The watch is rated as water resistant to 200m. I wear it swimming all the time and have never had a problem.

I have an ebel etype watch. As someone with a first name that starts with E I couldn't resist a watch band made of E shaped links.

This Seiko (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00462VFNY?cache=aee70f3a50ae46c7f29d09e497445063&pi=SY200_QL40#ref=mp_s_a_1_2&qid=1392307009&sr=8-2), bought two years ago and I love it:

It is waterproof and I have worn it in the pool or the bathtub and it has worked just fine.

If money were no option I would want a Cartier Tank, or a basic Womens Rolex.

I love it. It is water resistant to 99 feet, it has one alarm, it has countdown timers from 1, 3,5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, and 60 minutes (great for time-outs!), a stopwatch, & indiglo.

I have a Bulova, which I love. I never take my watch off unless showering and I must have the date on my watches. I have had mine for years since they wear like iron.

I have a BCBG MaxAzria watch that I love to bits. It has a big face with a small skeleton window and is an automatic watch, but I have to wind if if I skip a day of wearing it. I've had it for a couple of years. It broke once and sent it in for a free repair under warranty. I was so happy they could fix it! It took me months to pick out. If it ever stops working again, I'll be looking for a lifetime watch. I sometimes peruse a watch forum, though I forget what it is now. I don't want to get started again, LOL.

I found that BCBG at TJMaxx right around the same time that I'd finally settled on a Seiko watch. By the time the Seiko arrived, I didn't really care for that style anymore (small face, quartz/battery-driven). I think I wore it twice in two years. I like BIG and automatic watches!

Lately I have been wearing a rose gold Michael Kors watch and I love it. I like larger watches.

I had a rose gold MK that I loved, but it tarnished!? I was choked since I thought I had finally found a nice watch. I was given a store credit and bought a MK ceramic watch, which I wear daily, but... I dropped it from the counter onto hardwood when I was washing dishes and 2 links shattered. I was able to use a few links from when I had the watch sized, but it still scares me how fragile it is. My next watch will not be ceramic (or rose gold) sadly. My old watch was a purple Swatch and I still use it for casual wear. It is awesome and quite indestructable!
