Looking for a perfect pair of higher-waisted skinny jeans but I just can't find any that fit well. I have 2 pairs of ON high-rise Rockstar jeans from 2 years ago that were comfy to wear (but would get stretched in the knees) but I've lost some weight so they're a little too saggy now. The mid rise ones that they have now just don't fit me well (despite my endless attempts at trying them). I tried Vigoss brand which Pinterest Told Me To swears by but they were too low rise. I want to order Madewell's high rise skinnies but, at $125, I'm having trouble pulling the trigger. Any other suggestions??

I like American eagle. I can't do current rock stars at old navy

I like the Jbrand mid rise. I think the style is "Rail".

I love my COH Edson jeans. But when I think about it, they are straight leg, not really skinny. The rise is perfect.

Subscribing!!

But I also wanted to share a personal observation:) I've found that a mid or low-mid rise (not high) works best for me because it (for lack of better words) cuts right into the middle of my abdomen and holds it in, so that even if it creates a muffin top (which it absolutely does), as long as I wear a more structured or patterned or heavier knit top, it's not as noticeable as when I wear something high-rise that actually lets my tummy bulge out to its fullest.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean! I just can't seem to find the most flattering fit for me yet - so far they've all been too low, where I need to hike them up every time I bend over.

Try Gap. My 1969 pair is great.

I have a pair of Lucky Brand skinnies in their Sophia cut. They are a bit higher in the back than the front.

I didn't realize how high the rise was on my True Religion Serena skinnies, but ended up loooooving it. Not so much they seem like mom jeans, but enough to keep my tummy in and not show my underwear when I bend down. Perfect!

I like the AG prima cigarette leg for a good mid-rise skinny jean.

before I was pregnant, I had a pair of AE high rise jeggings I liked. I sized up so they were not painted on and they are nice and stretchy which I find more comfortable in a skinny jean. Plus, they are really cheap, and I wanted to try out the higher rise without spending a lot on premium denim. I have kind of a long torso and these hit me right below my belly button, which didn't turn out to be too high for me. Much lower and I'm constantly hiking them up and I get my underwear showing when I sit down.

These are not skin-tight skinnies, but fit into boots -- DKNY Soho Skinny. I had to size down, and found them at TJMaxx. Macys might carry them, they have a lot of DKNY.

I just picked these up at Nordstrom Rack for $55: http://citizensofhumanity.com/product/women/1416-372-crispy

Obviously haven't worn them yet, but they seemed great when I tried them on!

Same here. No whale tail, but the front is more flattering than higher waisted jeans.
