i know there are many on this board that don't use shampoo, or use sulfate free shampoo (myself included)

but i'm wondering what people use to wash their bodies? would love some recos - not so into bars b/c they're too messy IMO

thanks

I use everyday shea pump-cleans well, economical, and safe for me.

I've been using Dove for body wash. I'm following this thread as I'm trying to explore other options as well.
My kids use Burt's Bee fragrance free body wash as they have very sensitive skin.

I use Jason Natural. Big jumbo pump style bottle lasts forever and not full of junky chemicals. I can find it at my local Wegmans.

Usually Dove bar soap. The kids use that or Aquaphor baby.

we gave up bars when we remodeled the bathroom because liquid soaps make much less soap scum so it's easier for me to clean the tiles!

I love the Everyday Shea (lavender!) and also African Black Soap (peppermint!) made by the same company. it's got Shea in it and it's so so moisturizing! I get both soaps from WHole Foods.

I have good luck finding big pump bottles of liquid soap at TJMaxx and Ross that say paraben, sulfate, EDTA, etc free. Some are off brands I've never heard of, some are EO brand.

Dove bar soap for us adults. I don't find them all that messy - but we have a housecleaner that comes every 2 weeks and every month or so I spray down the shower walls with Tilex.

Our pediatrician recently recommended that we have the kids switch to Dove bar soap for handwashing (we previously used liquid foam pumps...Method or the like) and it has made a HUGE difference in the health of the skin/nails on their hands. I cannot believe how simply switching to Dove bar soap at home (not even at school) has made such a huge difference - no more hangnails, rough patches, peeling skin! We're in the process of switching the entire house to Dove bar soap for handwashing. They use Honest Kids shampoo/bodywash for baths though because Dove bar soap is NOT tear-free:)

I was going to say the same. I use the EO when I can find it, Berts Bees, but Ross has some good brands that are cruelty free and paraben free that I get in big bottles. I just got some 7th Generation body wash and some Method body wash too, both are nice.

Big fan of Kiss My Face Olive Oil bar soap. I have VERY sensitive skin and other allergies, especially to fragrances, so I really appreciate that it has only 3 ingredients: olive oil, water, salt. It's harder than some bar soaps, so not super messy.

I use Dr. Bronner's body wash - the lemongrass-lime (http://www.amazon.com/Shikakai-Organic-Lemongrass-Dr-Bronners/dp/B001DI776S) one - I love the scent. It reminds me of Origins ginger line, but cheaper, and less chemicals. Dh uses Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap.

I use Earth Mama Angel Baby's Happy Mama soap: http://www.drugstore.com/earth-mama-angel-baby-happy-mama-hand-to-toe-wash/qxp335800?catid=183044. I love the pump dispenser for instant foam and I'm a huge fan of the grapefruit scent. It's very subtle and doesn't linger long after the shower.

I know you don't like bars, but we've always used Dove bar soap. They are on a draining rack in the shower, and we've never had a problem. The whole family uses it.

We use Dove bar soap. It's cheap and works awesome! Both DD and I have sensitive skin. I tried a few different body washes, but was sick of spending the $$$. My dermatologist and DD's pedi both recommended it.

I just started using the Kirkland body wash, paraben and sulfate free. I really like it so for, doesn't dry my skin and all.

I use Dove bar soap and body wash. We have very hard water and very dry skin (but not terribly sensitive). It doesn't irritate any of us and isn't really messy.

I make soap from scratch (and it is freaking awesome, if I do say. ;) ) so I use bars but for a while for tired of DS (10) leaving his soap in a big puddle to melt so he's been using everyday Shea. Cheap, natural, lasts forever.
