DS1 really wants bubble bath. When he was younger we tried California Baby but it gave him a rash and I've never tried anything else. Any favorites I should try? TIA

Have you tried either some of his shampoo or a clear unscented dish soap like Dawn or Palmolive?

We love Babo Botanicals for bubble baths. Ours is the lavender scented kind (perfect for soothing at bedtime!): http://www.drugstore.com/babo-botanicals-3-in-1-bubble-bath-and-shampoo-and-wash-lavender-meadowsweet/qxp335494?catid=182480.

It also comes in other scents, if lavender isn't your thing:
Oatmilk: http://www.drugstore.com/babo-botanicals-moisturizing-baby-bubble-bath-oatmilk-calendula/qxp415066?catid=47477
Cucumber: http://www.drugstore.com/babo-botanicals-replenishing-bubble-bath-cucumber-aloe-vera/qxp402257?catid=182480

Our bath soap of choice is Earth Mama Angel Baby and while I love it, it definitely doesn't suds up like the bubble bath does!

Be careful of all botanicals or natural ingredients. Those could be very irritating to people with sensitive skin.

We have had pretty good luck with these from LUSH cosmetics:

I do NOT recommend the pink one - it's way too sweet - but the others we've tried (green, blue, yellow) are fine.

The "worst" thing in it is the food coloring.

Definitely try his shampoo/bodywash! We use Honest Kids and one day I accidentally dripped a little in the tub when refilling our container and was surprised by the amount of bubbles. We do have a faucet that churns out water at good pressure so that might be why - but it is definitely worth a try!

I wouldn't recommend even a tiny amount of Dawn though - that stuff is so harsh on sensitive skin.

Also keep in mind that whatever you use, if you use too much it will be irritating to sensitive skin. My girls are fine with CA baby bubble bath (but not several other brands) BUT I only use a TINY amount - half cap (and the cap is really shallow!). But, like I said - good tub faucet water pressure so maybe that's the difference:)
