Baby Matthew Arrived!

Baby Matthew arrived 1 week early this past Sunday morning! He came relatively quickly and easily for a first baby -- it was about 7 hours from me figuring out that my back pain was actually contractions to his birth. I went to the hospital around midnight Saturday night and he was delivered naturally in the alternative birth room by my midwife's intern (who I'd seen several times at the office) and her office's on call midwife at 3 a.m. Everyone at the hospital was fabulous and we couldn't have hoped for things to go any better.
