jcrew factory quality?

How's the quality of JCrew factory items? How does the sizing compare to the regular store sizing? I need new shorts in some staple colors that aren't likely to go on sale any time soon. They are quite a bit cheaper at JCrew factory but I've never bought anything from the factory so I'm hesitant. Can anyone compare the two? Thanks!

I've been happy with my jcrew factory items. I don't regularly buy normal jcrew so I can't really compare. I have a factory light wool skirt which I wear all the time. I love it because it never wrinkles. I also have a few other skirts that are well made too.

I think the quality is good for the price. I tend to pick up a lot of basic tanks and tees there, and even though they are the sort of items I tend to replace every year, I have quite a few that are several seasons old.

I think their sizes run about the same as regular J. Crew (on the generous side) I find woven tops and bottoms run bigger than knits.
