My guardian angel was on duty today!!!

DD3 and I were driving down the 5 today, 70mph, with the usual lots of traffic. A pickup truck a couple of cars in front of us and a few lanes over suddenly did a 360 in the middle of the road, crossing over several lanes and came to a complete stop sideways in front of us! He started in the left lane and ended up sideways across the two right lanes. Cars were screeching to a stop all around us , swerving around the truck and by a sheer miraculous divine intervention not one single car got hit. The man held up his hand, turned around and took the next exit.

I was shaking for a while and I'm sure that man saw his life flash before his eyes!

Wow, that's crazy! I wonder what made him lose control of the vehicle? I'm glad to hear that everyone on the road managed to escape injury.

Maybe he blew a tire? I didn't see anything but that is my only guess. Me too...super glad everyone is safe cause that had the potential of being a massive pileup!

Wow, I'm so glad you're ok. When I was about 3yo I was riding with my family and saw the same thing happen to a car on the five near Lindbergh Field. I still remember it vividly. I can imagine as a mom it must have been terrifying for you.

We had something similar happen a few years ago, where a bump from a car spun us around and we stopped backwards, facing 5 lanes of rush hour highway traffic. I figured that was the end, but shockingly we came out untouched. I still get chills thinking about it, so I know the feeling!!
