Pasta for 25 people - how much?

It seems DD signed me up to bring pasta to the high school - FOUR hours from now. Non-dairy, so I think I'm just going to do penne with marinara and a few veggies - they're teens, it should be okay.

How much do I need though? Is one of those big foil pans enough?

I'd say 4 boxes.

Will the pasta be the only food served? If so, I agree with 4 boxes (pounds) of pasta. If it is part of a larger meal, I think you could scale back to 3 boxes.

Is this the only entree? If it is the only entree, and you base it on a 4 oz serving per person, that would be 6.25 boxes. If there are going to be multiple entrees, 3 will be plenty.

There's a ton of food, but this is the only dairy-free option. I can't imagine that there are 25 kids in the drama club who are dairy free though (100 people total). Either way, I bought 6 boxes. Thanks!
