Best way to keep a bouquet of flowers?

I need to bring 2 bouquets of flowers to school one morning, so I would like to buy them the day before. What is the best way to store them??? Does anyone know how much Costco's mixed bouquet costs? TIA!

I wrap the ends in wet paper towels, then in the bag, then stick in the fridge. (I figure they're refrigerated at the store, plus I have to keep our deranged cats from eating them overnight!)

this. it's amazing how much nights in the fridge can keep a bouquet days longer.
