Renting a CARES harness

I found this link on ebay- would you use it rather than buy your own? We'd probably just need it once this year until dd2 is big enough for the seats. seems like a good option- should I be worried about using a "used" one?

I would probably buy a new one and then sell it on CL if I weren't going to use it again.

If you think you are going to use it more than once, I would just buy one and resell on eBay or Craigslist.

I'll be following this thread. We also need one this fall for a one-time thing. Has anybody here ever rented?

Maybe we need a BBB harness share. I also need one for a long trip but can't decide of renting is worth it.

I know some other BBBer's have rented the harness from eBay and have had good experiences. You can probably find the threads by searching. I ended up buying one because we travel a lot.
