are Boden jersey maxi skirts really long?

I am 5'5.75" tall and lots of maxi skirts and dresses are way too long, like hit at the top of my feet. I was debating about ordering one but thinking about ordering a petite instead. I know petite is usually 5'4" and under. I could have a regular hemmed, but for the same price I could save the alteration money if a petite might hit at my ankles.

I would not order petite. Have you checked the reviews? I'm the same height and I have a couple of boden Maxi dresses. I ordered long based on the reviews and the length is perfect. These dresses are a few years old, so I don't know if the current ones are running the same.

I'm the same height and love splendid maxi dresses. I like them to hit my feet. Anything shorter than that looks odd IMO.
