I have never found comfortable heels to wear to weddings or more dressy events. I like slingback, open toe, peep toe, styles, and I am looking for a comfortable black pair for dressy occasions to wear with a few black dresses that I have.

Even comfort brand ones have failed me in the past, resulting in red lines and blisters.

I am open to any and all suggestions for a truly comfortable black heel.

Thanks!

I would check out Barking dog shoes. She has a lot of great reviews. She just posted this: http://www.barkingdogshoes.com/2014/06/comfortable-heeled-career.html

I have an extra-bad combination of wide feet and rheumatoid arthritis. When I have to wear heels, they are usually Munro. I think they're the best combination of comfort and style. I usually get them at Nordstrom Rack, though finding them there is a total crap shoot.

I have wide, almost square, German feet (9 1/2 to boot!) and I recently was shocked that I could wear these all night recently to a benefit: http://vip.zappos.com/david-tate-beverly-silver-satin (It comes in black but the link keeps changing to silver, but you can change the color.)

I was surprised, because I've never worn heels all night long. Seriously, I think ever. Well, it's not like I wear heels a lot so maybe that's not a huge thing for most people but it was for me. :rotflmao:

I recently discovered these. Even though they are marked regular, the shoes run wide and they are amazingly comfortable! Try a few sizes to ensure a good fit.

They have a few other styles of heels in black. The extra wide is quite wide, even for my feet, so i had to size down. I can't tell you how excited I am to discover a new source of cute shoes for wide and extra wide feet!
