What color shoes with yellow dress?

I just bought a short yellow dress to wear to a wedding. I'm going to wear it with a white and gold statement statement necklace. Can I go with nude strappy heels (with a small gold buckle at the ankle) that I already own or would I be better to buy gold or another color?

I think gold would look best but the nude ones you have could also work. If you can share pictures of the dress and shoes, it might help to visualize.

ETA: My thought was gold would be better too, but wanted to make sure I wasn't just creating a reason to get new shoes! :) Any gold heel suggestions? I'd like something that would be bearable to chase my kids in as its a family wedding and they are coming.

I personally wouldn't put gold with that particular yellow, and I don't think the fabric of the dress is formal enough for a metallic heel. Can you link to the necklace you're wearing? What time of day and where is the wedding? I think that makes a difference.

I don't have a link to the necklace bc it is from a local boutique. The color of the dress online looks different than it does IRL. The wedding is at 2pm with a 5 pm reception at a country inn. The mother of the groom (my aunt) is wearing a short, simple dress. I was thinking more a gold tone wedge or strappy heeled sandal vs. glittery metallic.

I like blue with yellow, maybe a navy. I think the colors set each other off nicely. But then I am pale so I don't like to wear nude or white shoes.
