Anyone familiar with living social deals?

There's a living social deal for Membership to the LA zoo but it says "new customers" only. My membership at the zoo expired in June. Does that mean I don't qualify because I had a membership before? Even though it expired??

It may be like Costco where you can qualify again after not being a member for a specified amount of time. However, I would guess that you don't qualify. You'll be in their system as having had a membership so you aren't new.
