I have seen a few threads referencing the sale, but none for what people have actually purchased. I got...

(not sure if sale links work for non-card holders, so linking to regularly priced items when comparable and possible.)

Kut from Cloth jeans, and tights for me. Bogs and a cute tunic dress for DD2. I wish there were more sale pattern Bogs, it's too much of a pain for the girls to have identical boots. Garnet Hill usually has some on pre-season sale, I'll wait it out.

TwinFoxes, which Kut jeans did you buy? I need jeans but was nervous about buying without trying on first.

Kut is flattering on me. I feel like they fit like more expensive jeans. I usually buy their straight leg jeans, but I've discovered that they're called boot cut for a reason...they fit over my boots! ;) I'm a quick one.

I can't remember, do you have a B&M Nordstrom nearby? They have a jeans hemming service.

How much is the Bare Minerals set? I am supposed to be NOT shopping in July but we don't have a Nordstrom so I didn't realize this sale was going to be so irresistible. I reeeeaaaally want another blardigan. I am tempted to sign up for the credit card just to get a blardigan. Is that crazy?

The BM set was $50. They offer a debit card, too - that's what I have. I like that the $$ comes directly from my bank account. Keeps me in check ;).

are those considered low, high or mid rise?

Also on the hemming service, do they do the europe hem to save the original hem?

I haven't tried this Kut style yet but the description lists the rise as 9" front rise; 14" back rise. That is the same as another Kut style I have and it equates to medium rise. I think its a good balance between low rise and "mom" jeans.

So far I have bought some Frye short boots, 2 of the blardigans (one for me and one for a gift), Kut jeans (never tried these before but for the $ thought I would). Will probably order for my dc this weekend. Need to figure out their shoe sizes .

Oh, as far as hemming, if you have a card they will do the European hem free otherwise it is around $22 .

I would consider them slightly on the lower side of medium.

I've never used the hemming, because I'm tall, but i bet they do. I thought all professional tailors do.

I've heard that the heavenly mattress isn't as good as it once was. The pillowtop doesn't hold up well so you get sagging fairly soon. That happens with a lot of pillowtops though.

I believe it starts in stores the 18th for non-cardholders.

Yes opens Friday the 18th. Online will open at midnight PST.

If you are there before next Friday, many stores will let you look just not purchase without your Nords card. You might find a nice SA to put anything you find away to ring up the next day and ship to you. Or might just browse in store and then buy online as shipping is free.

Some stores are crazy secretive with the pre-sale, ours has everything behind curtains, but curtains are pulled open, and you can just go in an look without anyone hassling you. Srsly, they WANT to sell you stuff, so they shouldn't make it that hard!

Apparently they are holding a lot of stock back this year to release for the first day of public sale, so if you see something online that is out, be sure to check stores/online of Friday- the next wave is coming!

I was aiming to avoid the sale, but I had some price adjustments to make in person... and I found this Kut from the Kloth jacket: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/kut-from-the-kloth-lincoln-faux-leather-drape-front-jacket/3581142

I've never had luck with drapey looks, but this one works!! The faux leather actually feels nice, too. I can wear this as a jacket or cardigan.

I also picked up the previous version of the Pleione shirt that was on sale. I'm not sure why I didn't even check the newer style. I guess I forgot! I really wasn't intending to get any NAS things.

I've already shopped twice - for whatever reason, it makes me feel better not to see the amount in one lump sum! :) I bought adorable baby goodies for my newborn from the STEM brand, and then went back and bought him the Barefoot Dreams chevron blanket and loaded up on Zella goodies for ME! I have a feeling I'll be living in yoga wear over my maternity leave (and kids sporting events), so I'm going for super cozy. Can't get over the prices on Zella. It seems too good to be true when I've worn LuLu stuff.

I finally made it in today for a few minutes and, thanks to the BBB, asked about the blardigan. The girl looked it up and said there appeared to be about 12 left in the entire company (excluding the full price colors). She started to call around to find out if the stores that appeared to have them really did. I went upstairs to try out some of the other things recommended here while she called around. I went back about 20 minutes later and she said she hadn't had any luck but would keep working on it. At that moment a woman arrived at the next register to return one she had received yesterday. She said it was too heavy and didn't want it. Now I'm wearing my cozy new blardigan!

Thanks, BBB, for convincing me that I needed something I'm sure I would have been find without, but now love.

Angie's picks are up at YouLookFab:
http://youlookfab.com/2014/07/17/nordstrom-anniversary-sale-dresses-activewear/

Here is what I have bought so far (sorry I am too tired to post the links right now). It seems my themes for fall are plaid, moto, lace and floral. And my colors are burgundy, cream and navy, vs. red, white and black and grey.

DVF Shara lace print sweater--sized up one size
Equipment Ceclie plaid sweater
DVF lace pencil skirts in navy and black--sized up one size
Treasure and Bond red plaid shirt
Vince Camuto asymmetric zip skirt
Two by Vince Camuto faux leather trim moto leggings
Paige grey plaid pants--sized up one size
Chelsea28 lace inset blouse, and lace trimmed camis
Munro Abby sandals in black--so comfy I am duplicating in brown--these are all day sandals! Sized up half a size.
Laundry by Shelli Segal boucle dress with leather trim
Zella leggings, Shimera and Natori underwear

Some of the things I have on order, which may or may not stay (it's a lot, but I usually only end up keeping 10-20% of what I order online):
Aquatalia Sweetie black moto bootie
Halogen pleated leather midi skirt
Halogen black and white stripe pleat midi
Halogen floral sweater
Equipment Reese plaid silk shirt
Chelsea28 cropped sweater ivory
Theory Innis sweater in cranberry
Olivia Moon blazer in white
Pleione mixed media tunic in deep teal
Helene Berman burgundy cape
J Brand burgundy skinnies
See by Chloe grey ballet flats with silver studs
Eileen Fisher black silk blend track pants--would be a total wild card for me!

Happy shopping and I can't wait to see your goodies!

For those of you that missed out on the blardigan, keep checking the site. I was online when the sale went live (3am EST) and they were still out of S/M. I shopped for about an hour, placed an order and before I headed back to bed I decided to check the blardigan again and they had all colors available in all sizes, so keep checking back.

I was honestly super underwhelmed about the offerings.:bag and there was ABSOLUTELY nothing beauty or clothing wise that I just had to have right now, except for maybe these black Frye boots (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/frye-patty-leather-riding-bootie-women/3453810?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Redwood&resultback=723&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_2_B), which I still want, but I also most likely need a brake job and roters on my Honda Pilot so I really had to stay on budget this year, and am hoping for some work related interviews as well so the work separates are more needed than Frye boots for me (maybe they won't sell out and they'll end up at Nordstrom Rack as most of the Anniversary sale stuff does because it isn't normal merchandise they stock in the stores.....I thought buying Hanky Panky panties at the anniversary sale was a good deal until I saw them at Nordstrom Rack a few months later for even less, between $7 and $9!). I will most likely pop into the store next week to see the beauty stuff in person and maybe check out some of the shoes, but honestly this year hasn't been a good year for Nordstrom sales IMHO; even the women and kids sale was a let down from years past.

I bought for myself:
Halogen black pants (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/halogen-taylor-suiting-pants-regular-petite/3659853?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Midnight+Navy&resultback=0&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_1_A) (and if they fit I will order more colors, probably the chocolate, and the light brown)
Halogen black blazer (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/halogen-one-button-suit-jacket-regular-petite/3659864?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Midnight+Navy&resultback=874&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_3_A)

I bought for DH:

Non anniversary sale wise I also bought this dress for my DDs to hopefully wear in my brother's wedding in October:
Pippa & Julie dress (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/pippa-julie-sleeveless-soutache-dress-little-girls-big-girls/3775923?origin=PredictiveSearch-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=935&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-searchresults-_-1_3_B)

In regards to that blardigan coming up at full price I would buy it now and get a price adjustment, if you don't get the price adjustment then just return it if you don't want to pay full price.

The blardigan is, at the moment, coming up full price. I wonder if I could head to a store and find one? Hm.

There are different colors that are part of the sale. Earlier in the morning they had L/XL but now I don't even see them on the site anymore so they must have completely sold out. My store only had the full price colors.

Went back and got the Paige skyline jeans, Kut from the Kloth Catherine boyfriend jeans, Pleione mixed media tunic, an Olivia Moon mixed media layered shirt, pair of polka dot smart wool socks and a couple of things for DS. No more shopping! I'm done :)

What I have bought so far:

BP "Train" wrap belted booties
Kendra Scott long station necklace in emerald
Pleione mixed media tunic in Black
Zella "live in" capris in the grey space dye
Natori Feathers bra
Chantelle t-shirt bra
Halogen U-neck t-shirt

I tried on the "blardigan" and it was so comfy but because I'm only 5'2 it didn't look good enough on me to wear out of the house. I just couldn't justify spending $50 on something to wear around the house. I really wanted to love it.

I got the Halogen Pleated Midi Skirt in black/grey at the store today. I ordered the Halogen Knit Moto jacket in black. The small was too tight in the sleeves when I tried it on in store and they didn't have medium. And I also ordered the Stoosh Tweed jacket in pink. It's a juniors style so there's a good chance that it will be returned.

I want to get DD some zella leggings but does $30 for leggings for a 4.5 year old seem crazy? Im sure she would wear them a ton and has no other leggings but Im not sure what to do. I like them for me because they hold me in; something she certainly doesnt need.

Yes, $30 for leggings for a 4.5 year old is a little crazy. Every time I splurge on a clothing item, for example, Star Wars Hanna Andersson pjs, it gets ruined... my DD took a pair of scissors to those PJs, and while they are still wearable, it's just not the same! So, in my estimation, spending $30 on leggings is one way to be sure that your DD will fall and rip a hole right through them! That would be my luck! Get them for you! :)

Target has lots of great sports leggings for littles, I would save the money and get something for myself instead. I go two pairs of the Zellas, love them!

I'd hold off till she's a lot older to get those. I agree with PPs that there are tons of decent leggings out there for girls that age at a fraction of the price. I'm getting my DD the Zella leggings and yoga pants, but she's in middle school and having high quality leggings is more important at that age. When she was younger, I got her much less expensive leggings ~ think maybe $10-$12 tops for any particular one.

ETA: I think most of her leggings when she was little came from Gymboree, on sale.

Definitely skipping the pricey kid leggings then. Makes total sense.

This is my list

Shimera tanks in white, ivory, navy, black in a size up
Natori feathers bra in white (tried navy but the cups were too big)
Wacoal cotton panties (yikes see through, keeping only one)
Barefoot dreams, one for me and one for MIL gift
Antica Farmacista diffusers. Two for us and two for gifts. We like coriander cucumber and procecco the best
Antica Farmacista soap
Voluspa candle set - Jardin (I personally liked those scents the best)
Zella leggings in black and navy
Zella BP Sweatshrt in raspberry, one size up

Halogen U-neck tees in white, ivory, black, blue and teal (need tees bad)
New Balance in blue
London fog trench
Robin Piccone swimsuit (not part of the sale but I was able to get it $50 discount via price match) http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/robin-piccone-penelope-crochet-overlay-one-piece-swimsuit/3240353?origin=related-3240353-0-2-FTR-Rich_Relevance_Recs_R3-RecentHistoricalItems
Halogen 3/4 and short sleeve cardigans - on normal sale but they are so cute and inexpensive at $20-30 each!

So fun to see what everyone is picking!

I'm pregnant so it's helping me avoid stuff for myself from the Anniversary sale (though I did get some things from Macy's and Motherhood Maternity)!

I got DD some rainbow colored NB tennis shoes for school, and some Stride Rite light up tennis shoes for DS. Also some of those Tucker & Tate jeggings for DD (usually get them from Target, but I'm hoping these have functional pockets and will be higher quality than Target), and a darling oatmeal colored sweater hoodie (and blue version) for her. I didn't see any super cute, must-have items for DS. Since I ordered two sizes of everything to see what will fit them best, the bill was high enough for me to stop there! :)

I just spent a bunch of money and it's making me cringe. I know I'll send most of it back but still...I'm not used to spending hundreds of dollars all in one shopping event.

I got DH the Vince quilted jacket in a couple of sizes - if he likes it and it's warm enough, it'll be great for his field work.

I got the kids nothing because I just spent a lot in the HA $10 sale:)

I got myself:

A ton of bras (they aren't exactly my size which is 28DD but sometimes 30D works and I desperately need a racerback bra for summer so I'll try a bunch of the 30Ds out!)

Caslon roll-sleeve knit jacket (I LOVE me a good knit blazer and I love another version that I got from the half-yearly sale!)

Zella and Hue leggings to try out

Pleione mixed-media tunic everyone (and YLF) is talking about (in teal)

Classiques Entier ponte dress with the baby peplum that YLF raved about (I have decided I love dresses for work because they are much more forgiving to my weight fluctuations/bloating which always affect my lower half but it's a challenge finding dresses that hide the midsection and still look tailored).

I might go back and look but I wanted to get my order in as things were dropping out of my cart as I shopped!!

I ended up ordering the Zella hoody in the teal color (might exchange for black though), and a pair of the Zella capris in black, and grey. Not sure if I will keep any of it, but I have been looking for a nicer mid weight hoodie and most of my work out pants are really old so the capris might work.

My boxes have arrived, and while I was counting on returns, I'm not sure I'll be making any! Love my blardigan in cocoa (have another on on the way in the lighter color), the BM set is very pretty, love the Nike internationalist sneakers, Hanky Pankys and Natori bra are (predictably) great. I went to my store today and they had ONE blardigan in the back. It is so cozy soft but it is way too big on me! Wahh! I love the color too, it's a cocoa/tan (or maybe it's a warm grey?) mixed with a little white. I'm hoping hard that they restock the sale colors after the sale is over so I can exchange for a s/m. Otherwise I think it will have to go back. It's just too sloppy big in the sleeves. (If anyone got that color in the s/m and wants the larger size, lmk!)

Also got the hue leggings in 2 colors. Debating about a few other things but luckily lots that I want is already sold out.

You should keep an eye out in case it goes on sale later in the season. It was comfy and flattering. Just a very slight peplum, and nipped in at the waist. I think it will work for casual wear, but also for any autumn freelance gigs at my old job. The colors are nice too. Not that I'm enabling you. ;)

The peplum and nipped in waist would be perfect on me (I think) since I have a tiny waist but twin belly/big hips. To cave or not to cave...the one thing making me pause is that I hate acrylic with a passion but at least it's not too much of it...

2 different natori bras; one in the feathers style, one in the hidden glamour style

I am still thinking about the zella leggings and a few other things, but I want to leave room in the budget for some nice booties. I have small feet and my options are a bit limited. I didn't love most of the sale options.

OK got part of my order.

The Classiques Entier ponte dress with the baby peplum is lovely is so many ways but the skirt part of it hugged the top of my thighs too much so I looked totally preggo:( I am so sad because it's a gorgeous dress with GORGEOUS soft, stretchy, thick fabric and it would've been PERFECT for work. Angie on YLF got it wrong about it being forgiving on the midsection. It's completely not:( If the skirt part had some pleats in front so that it didn't hug the thighs, it would've been perfect.

I bought 5 bras and I am only keeping one - the Betsey Johnson stocking stripe underwire. Fortunately it's got the clasp in the back to convert to racerback, which I need, but it's not a nude color, which I also need. But it fits. The Natori feathers bra - it's a GORGEOUS bra and I REALLY wanted it to work but it's going back too:( The cup size runs SUPER SMALL. I ordered up a cup size and the tops of my boobs were still spilling out enough to be noticeable under a tight tank...I would order another one in a bigger cup size (30DDD!) but they're out of most colors now. PP, if it fits you, you will LOVE it - it is SO soft and really attractive! The band runs a bit tight too which would've been perfect for me since I actually need a 28DD.

I am keeping the Zella leggings. I wish it were reversible to a different color, but it clearly high-quality and a good thicker weight. I'm sending back my Boden leggings which were more like opaque tights - didn't like:) Also keeping the Hue leggings which were a tad thinner than Zella, but SUPER comfy - might go back for another color!

I am keeping the Caslon roll-sleeve knit blazer - it's divine, wonderfully soft, and looks fantastic!

Still waiting on Pleione tunic and some stuff for DH.

How long do I have to return items? I'm tempted to order a few things but I'm leaving early next week to come back at the end of Aug. Can I still return then if things don't fit?

Sorry you had some misses, but glad you found some nice things too :) I ordered up a cup size on the Natori, but am sort of between cup sizes a bit normally. So it is possible that I sized up 1.5 cup sizes, kwim? I hope that one of the natori bras I ordered works out.

Yup, they are awesome. I just returned a b-day present from March. I felt terrible having waited so long but with our move and everything this summer I just kept forgetting to do it.

I got this pair of boots from the sale. And a basic bralette to sleep in. I hope the boots work, I looked all last season for a pair of brown/gray boots and never found ones. I had actually put them in my cart and then saw they were one of youlookfab's recs, which was validating :) hope they fit!

I ended up trying on some bras and I ended up with two Chantelle lace bras in a 38C and the Natori feathers bra in a 36C; I am usually a 36A or 36B and I started with 36B in Natori, and a 36C in Chantelle (size of my strapless Chantelle bra) and they ran small. I am not 100% certain I am going to keep them though it depends on how much of the other stuff I decide I want to keep.

Got two packages from my order (still waiting on DD's tennis shoes).... we're keeping one of the pairs of DS' shoes (ordered two sizes), taking back the Tucker & Tate girls' jeggings... they're super cute but SUPER long (size 7/8), and DD is already really tall to begin with (age 5 and about 4'1"). LOVE the Tucker & Tate hoodie sweaters (oatmeal color and blue color); not sure if I should keep the size 8 or size down, not sure how it's supposed to look.

I'm still waiting on some NYDJ crops and a top. After how nice the jacket is, I'm feeling really optimistic!

I'm having issues with the natori feathers bra, as well, and I"m the same size! I love it and love that they make a 30 band (I technically measure 28 but I've never actually owned a 28 bra since I refuse to buy w/o trying first and the 30s seem plenty snug and supportive usually) and when I tried it on in the store it was perfect but now that I'm home it seems off. :( SO snug in the band that it feels like there isn't any stretch at all and i seem to shift around in the cups so even though they fit (sizing up to a 30DD) I end up with a little muffin top if I turn the wrong way. I'd actually tried the 30DDD in store and the cups were definitely too large- to the point they puckered on the side- so going up another cup isn't an option. I wonder if this will stretch well with use or if I should try a 32 band or just give up? Bummer because it's so cute and there isn't usually much variety in our size!

Can anyone speak to how the Shimera cami compares to the Kirkland ones? I keep seeing recs for them on ylf and other sites but wonder if they are worth it.

I have read a few comments about the Natori feathers bra being too small. I was fitted at Nordstrom and I tried my usual size 36C and thought it was too small because I felt like I had too much cleavage. The salesperson told me that is how this bra is supposed to fit. It's a lower cut bra so you are going to get a little exposure.

Are you using the older way of sizing (underbust measurement and add 4-5) or the updated method using your exact measurement for band size? Just for reference (for anyone else considering it and unsure on size) I measure 28 inches exactly around the ribs and 33 across the fullest part. That puts me at a 28DD or 30D with the updated method (32A using the " +4 " method, but I always bought 32B and thought they were good before getting refitted). There is no way I could have squished my boobs into a 32B in the feathers. The 30D wasn't just an issue of too much cleavage but of the quad-boob/muffin top where the top of the cup is cutting into the tissue, so very definitely too small. I agree it's a less coverage bra but even the lady who fitted me said to size up at least 1 cup. I wish some of the SImone Perele bras were included. Comes in my wierd size AND beautiful but no way I'm spending $90+ on a bra!

Yeah, I definitely know my right size (been fitted at Nordstrom as well as using the breakoutbras method - 28DD both methods) and a lot of it also depends on boob shape. Mine are loose, floppy, with little mass to fill out the top, and tend to hang straight down instead of towards the sides. So whatever bra I wear has to come up and around enough of my boobs to hold it in place because even if the size is correct, my breast mass spills over the center due to gravity. It's like if you had a half-filled water balloon that technically fit into the bra cups if you hold them horizontally...but then turn them on the side the way you would if you were wearing the bra, and the balloon skin no longer stays in the cups and gets all squished/lumpy at the top edges of the bra cups. My left boob is also bigger than my right. It's a SUPER CHALLENGE for me to find bras that work. I have 3 that work quite well from breakoutbras where you can't see any lumpiness/spillage over even with tight tops (those ladies there rock and helped me find these 3!). calebsmama, let me know if you want to know which styles these are and I'll look them up for you since sounds like we're both the same size and have some similar issues.

I did order a Natori Feathers in 30DDD JUST to see because I want so badly for this bra to work, it's such an attractive bra!

I think we are boob twins! ROFL! Same issues here, and that is exactly what was going on in the feathers. :( When I scoop and swooped and arranged myself into the cups it was a perfect fit - beautiful, looked like an amazing silhouette under tees, etc, but as I walked around and lived my life the girls shifted around and I had quad-boob style spillage out the center top (and the outside of the cup was empty so it was puckering). :( You must have a better tolerance for tight bands though, if you also measure 28 and found the 30 band comfy. I was feeling like I'd need an extender until it stretched and loosened up a bit. I tried the 30DDD (sounds bizarre to type that!!) and it was too big up top. Could maybe have worked since the padding really fills out the top cup on its own but I could def fit several fingers in there. I may try to get into a Nordy again and try the 32 band in a few cups and see if it works at all. The band didn't feel very stretchy so I'm not sure it will loosen and mold to me (unlike my Wacoal ones where even though it's a snug fit the band stretches a lot so I know it will loosen up as the elastic wears).

Would def.like to know what you've tried that works! In my old (bad) sizing I found I preferred fuller coverage slightly padded cups or balconette/demi type cups where the coverage is more cupping under and around both sides, if that makes sense? Right now I literally have ONE bra in the correct size! I noticed that there was a CK t-shirt bra cheap in the anny sale that comes in 30 bands so I want to try that to see if it would work to stretch out the bra budget! Who'd have thought a SMALLER bra would cost more! (Feel free to PM me since I feel bad hijacking this thread about the anny sale!)

I ordered so much but luckily a lot of is going back. Here is what I loved:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/pleione-mixed-media-tunic-regular-petite/3736370?origin=PredictiveSearch-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Purple+Dark&resultback=198&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-searchresults-_-1_1_C

I got this in yellow and black. It runs really big. Love it.

These are so comfortable and cute!

KUT from the Kloth 'Catherine' Boyfriend Jeans (Priceless) - these are not online anymore but I really like these jeans. I haven't tried this brand before but the denim is so soft. I'm still in between sizes (losing the baby weight) so I am happy to have these for the fall).

Tory Burch 'Plaque' Smartphone Wristlet - this must also be sold out, as it's not showing up. The leather is really nice and it's the perfect size for going out.

Really like these for under a suit. Great price and good style for me (vneck, longish and some rouching on the sides). Got 2 of them

Halogen black blazer[/ur]

I bought for DH:
[url=http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/nike-dual-fusion-run-3-running-shoe-men/3793346?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=5885&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_15_A]Nike sneakers (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/halogen-one-button-suit-jacket-regular-petite/3659864?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Midnight+Navy&resultback=874&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_3_A)

All of this is going back, the suit pants and the jacket felt a whole size small and I measured per their guidelines. I have a feeling that the Halogen line just runs small, so a 16 in both might work, but I am not holding my breath on that.

Even DH said that the shoes I ordered were a little too narrow vs. the ones he already has (which looked similar to these, maybe his were a wide).

....
Zella hoody in the teal (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/zella-pretty-hoodie/3645110?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Black&resultback=395&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-searchresults-_-1_1_A), and a pair of the Zella capris in black, and grey (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/zella-live-in-capris/3059164). ........

The Zella pants were small too and I don't think I'll get the XL either, there was nothing special about them. The hoody fit and I really wanted to love, but the pockets were up way too high (close to mid stomach vs. the hips) and I knew it was going to bother me.

I am test driving one of the Chantelle lace bras (the one with the "C") today and I am not sure if I am going to keep, cup wise it fits great, but it's a little tight around the back and I am used to wearing my bras on the middle hook and this one is in the last hook, and I am really afraid that a 40C would be way too huge in the cups. I'll try the Natori feathers one tomorrow or Sunday.

Oh! How's the v neck fit on those vince camuto shirts? Does it gape or shift much? I'm 34dd, so am always careful with wrap tops. They can be amazing or disasterous!

Also ogling the v neck Eileen fisher.... Have the petite and regular in my cart, but haven't pulled the trigger yet...

You may know this but just in case, "they" say you should buy bras so they're comfy on the last (loosest) hook so that you have room to cinch it in tighter as the elastic wears and stretches out so it might work? That's my dilemma on the feathers- whether it will stretch enough to be comfy. :/

Another returns question since I've never returned so much before:) If you return in-store, is your credit back on the card that you used immediate? I'm trying to decide if I should mail it in (which I could do now) or return in-store (which I could do in the next couple of weeks.

Vneck is great. I am a 34D. You can adjust it but it is totally work appropriate for me. I think the Eileen Fisher is cute just really baggy...

Yes...sort of immediate? I don't know if the cc company itself takes a few days to process it or not. Or..you can always get cash back (and that way you keep your points you earn from your cc).

I got 2 pairs of zella live-in capris, keeping one (the regular reversible were too short, more like clamdigger length? I'm keeping the reversible streamlined longer ones). These have such great reviews and I tried them on and they are a bit....thicker than I'm used to. But I'm going to give them a try at the gym and see how they feel. I've heard they are super similar to lululemon which I've been thinking about trying for a while now so we'll see.
Also got a pair of the hanky panky retro thongs which I like. They are still thongs so there's that (I don't normally wear thongs but it's nice to have a good pair or 2 for those occasions where it is helpful) and these offer the full frontal tummy pooch coverage I need. I went back to get another pair but they are all sold out now.

Stuff is still tricking in here, they're coming in all assortments of small boxes which is kind of maddening:) I think I've ordered like 10 bras to try and unfortunately none of them worked:/

I am keeping the Stella reversible leggings, the Hue wide-waist leggings (got 2 colors), Caslon knit jacket. DH liked the Vince jacket that I got him and it looks good. He also loved the PBS t-shirt haha. I laid it out on the bed and didn't say anything about it - I heard him laugh when he finally saw it.

Still waiting on my Pleione tunic. Everything else went back. I think I was most disappointed about the Classiques Entier ponte dress with the baby peplum. It looked so good except that my stomach poked right out:(

Same here. I tried it on in the store (both the long and short sleeve version) and the smallest size was still way too boxy on me.

The moto jacket definitely ran small. The next size is on backorder so it won't arrive for a few weeks. I like the Caslon Drape Neck Cardigan when it's open but when it's zipped I find the stomach area a little bulky with the pockets so it's not the most flattering. Not sure if I'm going to keep it or not. Not sure about the tweed jacket either. It seems a little big but I think the smaller size will be too tight. I just ordered the smaller size so we'll see if I like it better. Otherwise they may both go back.

Here's a tentative list of items I'm keeping.

Halogen Pleat Midi Skirt in black/grey - This is different than all the skirts I own, so it's a keeper for now.

There are more items that haven't arrived yet, so I will need to reassess my keep list when I get everything. Surprisingly, my keep list is longer than my return list, which is usually not the case with online orders.

For those of you who got you DD leggings, jeans or jeggings, which did you like the best and how was the sizing? I see they have Tucker Tate and Tractr jeggings they say size up, and Hudson jeans they say size down. DD will be 5 in January, she is pretty skinny.

ITA, re: the Pleione tunic. I knew it would be boxy, but so many raves I had to try. Back it went.

We can be cardigan twins! I think that was my favorite NAS item this year. I got the red brown as well.

Does the cardigan run true to size?

I found it to. But it is a type of cut that is flattering on me, nipped in waist and room for boobs.

I ended up loving the Pleione tunic. I sized down and went with petite (black in my size was OOS in normal length). I am right around 5'3" so sometimes prefer petite, sometimes prefer normal length. I thought the v in the front might be too low on the regular length. Not sure if petite is smaller overall, but with sizing down and doing the petite, I was very happy with the fit. Flatteringly drapey but IMO not boxy on me. I actually thought I'd probably hate it. I have a 2nd on backorder in a different color in normal length (not petite), but am not sure if that will work for me.

Humm, maybe I should have tried a size small of the pleione?

This was the same for me - except I'm 5'

FYI, Nordstrom is sold out of most sizes of girls sale Bogs, but Amazon is price matching the color on sale. Thank goodness, because one pair I received was too big (one DD has huge feet), and the smaller size was sold out at Nordstrom. I'll return to Nordstrom, but I reordered from Amazon. I'd wager Amazon may be price matching other items too.

I also went for the xs petite and it worked for me. I'm 5'2". I have another color in the same size on backorder for delivery at the end of October.

I am a fan of the Tractr jeggings. DD had some last year and I bought her the jeggings and the leggings this year. Only the jeggings have arrived so far but I didn't think they ran small. DD took her normal size but they were definitely long on her. Maybe you should buy 2 sizes and return the one that doesn't work since the sale ends today. I also bought her the Hudson skinny jeans and they run a bit big b/c they fit me. DD doesn't like jeans with a fly so she wouldn't even try them.
