I'm looking for smoking deals on high quality everyday sneakers for an 8yo DD (size 4.5Y), 6.5 yo DS (2.5Y), and 5yo DS (13.5).
We have just about every chain around, and I think I'd be okay ordering online as long as returns are free/easy.

Look.com had 50% last year and that was awesome. Stride Rite is doing B1G140% off this year, so not too much of a deal.

I'm wondering the same thing. :) I used to order, and love, Pedipeds for DD. She's mostly grown/ aged out of those now at about a size 2, so I guess I need to find a new reliable choice. I bought her a pair of NB tennis shoes from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but they have a weird velcro clasp, but they were slightly discounted at about $35 instead of $50. I did buy and keep another pair of tennies from there (Stride Rite light up shoes) for DS.

I've had some luck when Olly Shoes runs an extra 25% off their clearance. Free 2 day ship with Shoprunner.

I just ordered DS1's shoes from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but they weren't a super great deal. I just got DD these on amazon (sold out in her size at NAS): http://www.amazon.com/New-Balance-KJ890-Pre-Lace-Up/dp/B00DNNTZRK/ref=sr_1_1?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1406641971&sr=1-1&keywords=rainbow+new+balance but paid less a few days ago on amazon I think. I ordered a lightning deal pair of new balance for DS2 for 35, but then found these sauconys, which we ended up keeping (will return new balance, as I prefer the look and fit of the saucony shoes on him, and they are a tiny bit cheaper anyway): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008JEFVNA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

These were on lightning deal the other day for 35. Girls version was a buck or two cheaper IIRC: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DNNZ9ZM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I found reasonable prices on Saucony, NB etc at amazon.com.

I just got sneakers for all three of my kids from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as well, which weren't smokin' hot deals but the kids were able to pick out their favorite models and colors, and trying on several different styles for fit and comfort was super easy. But otherwise I'd be watching Amazon for some good deals with free returns in case sizing doesn't work out or something.

I also just got DD a pair of Fuggs at Costco ~ she's about a 4.5/5/5.5 right now in youth sizing but fit into the women's Fuggs there in a really small size (I think it was a size 4 women's). She already has Uggs for next school year but these will be nice as an extra pair to knock about in, plus they're really well made. I know you mentioned sneakers, not boots, but just thought I'd mention it since I don't think the Costco Fuggs last long in the stores.
