I'm thinking of upgrading my cheapo Target fleece jacket for fall, especially since DS starts his first year of soccer. So I need something for cool mornings on the soccer field and school drop off. I know I want pockets and a full zip. I'd consider a vest, too, but I've tried Lands End before and even the xs was too big. Was looking at these since they are 25% off in the REI Outlet sale.

Thoughts? Anyone have one they recommend? And anything else I'll need for soccer games? This is new territory for me.

I have the eddie bauer sweater fleece jacket and really like it. Very flattering slimmer fit, not as boxy and it's nice and warm :).

I don't own one, but I was looking at the North Face Momentum jacket as well. Looks like it would be warmer than the others. Great price at REI!

I have a mountain hardware minky fleece that I absolutely adore. It's the kind a full zip up style, and I got it in a really vivid pink. I prefer this brand over north face.

I have a TNF Oso fleece. It's the same as the Osito, but with a hood. I love it. It is so warm and cuddly, very soft. All the ones you linked to look nice.

Patagonia's Better Sweater Fleece is nice too.

I have the R2 from Patagonia. At first I thought it was a bit too thin for really cold weather, but it's ended up being awesome! It's thin enough that I put it under my down jacket and it was good for winter in NYC.

I think it is this one... http://www.mountainhardwear.com/womens-pyxis-jacket-OL3866.html?colorID=391

I got it for a steal from REI outlet or STP a few yrs ago. I can't remember which one. However, I vividly remember thinking, "damn, I should have gotten another one." It's really nice.

I got this one as a bday gift in the spring, in the light grey. I LOVE it, perfect for spring/fall! Still fleece but a little more tailored and the high collar is great when it's colder than you expect on the soccer field.

Cute! And it looks long enough to sit on. I still like the look of the Osito but I wonder if it sheds.

I have one osito and one mossbud pullover, both furry north faces and they've never shed. Those are all I wear as a winter coat in Cleveland and I think they work well to keep me warm. I can fit into (minus the arms being a bit short) my kids boys medium denalis and find the xs women's perfect.

They generally have at least 2 codes from the mailing list active at all times, so be sure to check both of them to see which is the better deal on your order :)
