Pretty sure my supply is not great right now. Seems to happen when my babies sleep through the night (DD2 goes 12 hrs quite often). Picked up some Mother's Milk tea and about to have some, but just wanted to make sure it is safe? I haven't talked to my pediatrician about it.

If there is nothing in there to worry about, how to do you fix it? Is it good with milk like a black tea? Thanks!

My LC recommended it. I drank it plain but I like my tea black too so I am no help there. I think it helped. I also think feeding more often during the day helps.

I drink it plain - it's just an herbal tea, so didn't seem to make sense to put in milk (I usually think of milk with strong, black teas). Helped me a lot with supply but only when I drank the recommended 3-5 cups/day.

I kind of like it. It's definitely safe for nursing moms. I would take it when I had a cold and needed to take sudafed (which can reduce supply).

Have you looked into fenugreek and blessed thistle. Supposedly more milk plus is very good. You can get it at whole foods.

I would put 3 bags of mmt in a mason jar with one bag of a fruit tea and let it steep for a couple of hours. Once it cooled I put it in the fridge. I drank it iced with a splash of cranberry juice.

I used it -- I felt like pure Fenugreek tea worked better for me, though. I'd make it into iced tea and drink it over ice.

Thanks! I had some plain and it was pretty good. How many cups a day do I need to drink?

I just wanted to update that this tea is amazing! Totally resolved my issue. I drank 2-3 cups per day. I have actually tailed off and my supply still seems good.

Where did you get it from?
You can get it on Amazon, even as a subscribe and save item if you want.

OP, glad it worked for you. I give that tea great credit for getting me through a year of nursing.
