Any deals on tap shoes and skates?

Getting my kids enrolled in the fall activities and I have no idea where to search for deals on tap shoes and skates. Any hints?

Honestly, I've had great luck at consignment shops (regular kids ones for tap shoes and a sports-related second hand shop for skates). I've gotten both in absolutely perfect condition. Our dance shop also does 25% off everything the week before classes start, so it may be worth checking on that.

Don't know about skates, but I get dance stuff for my daughter at discountdance.com

I just found tap shoes at a kids consignment shop. They had tap, ballet, and jazz.

Skates I'm not sure but I did see a sale sign at our local rink. Maybe call and see if they sell used ones at yours?
