I need a good starter for my DD! She has taken a bottle maybe 5 times in her short life, so itcould be a hard transition for her.

Dd1 didn't like sippy cups until she had a good amount of teeth and she could bite well so she used the Avent bottles with the hard green bite valves or a Klean Kanteen with the same Avent sippy spout. She also had good luck with the Take N Toss cups.

DD2 would use anything, but the Nuk cup was her favorite.

My youngest started with a take and toss style straw cup around 7 months. They don't have a valve so it's easy to learn to drink that way vs some of the other sippy cups with valves. Straw training was useful because we could always get a straw in restaurants for water and didn't need to bring along our own cups often.

Read good things about Zoli. Just picked up a few. Oddly enough DD2 could easy sip water out of the straw thermos stainless containers!

We started with the Avent sippy cups then moved on to the stainless steel thermos sippy cups (foogoo) and we use the reflo cups :)

We never used sippy cups went straight to the straw cup. Better for the teeth. Same as PP, straws are always available.
