Do baby bike seats expire?

I have a Bell baby bike seat to sell, all parts present, in excellent condition, barely used. There is a date of 05/15/07 on it.

Stored in a climate controlled garage.

I can't seem to find anything on this online.

I'd doubt it since there is no crash test and they are not rated etc. They offer no real protection so not a lot to get damaged. I guess you could make a case for the plastic to deteriorate but really in the event of something bad I doubt that would be the biggest issue. I'd get it!

I'm actually selling it, and it looks pristine, it's a friends, and I'm tagging for a consignment sale. I'll put it at $6.00 and I"m sure it will sell.
