How does the Disneyland Halloween party work?

I have a CA annual pass but didn't buy the Halloween party tickets.

So how does that work? Do they kick everyone out after a certain time?? If so what time?

And is the Halloween party event in California adventure too or just Disneyland? Are the hours different on ca adventure on days that there is the Halloween event?

The Halloween party is on certain days, in Disneyland only. Usually Tuesday and Friday evenings, either at 6 or 7pm. Party goers get wrist bands and after a certain time, all patrons without wristbands will be kicked out of Disneyland. If they have parkhoppers, or annual passes, they can go over to California Adventure.
I don't believe the closing times for CA are any later than usual on party days.

We are going for the first time in 2 weeks, so all my info is from disboards.
