I admit, I am drawn to the two Longchamp totes more than the MBMJ. And the durability of the leather Longchamp LM Cuir appeals to me too.

Thanks HannaAddict! Can you tell me what size Longchamps you find useful? Are the larger totes more practical? The two Longchamps are both large and not small.

Yeah, I like the Longchamps, as well. I'm afraid the straps on the other bag wouldn't be long enough to be that useful as a tote.

Good point on the MBMJ strap length. The drop length is very short on those handles.

I have large totes (but don't think the largest, just "standard" larger size at Nordstrom or their store (more choices in Paris!). I find them useful. I throw my purse in the tote if I want to have it all in one. I also might have the tote and have very little in it but use it as hangs well over the shoulder and fits a tablet or notepad. I don't think I'd use a small one much.
