I'm going to combine days here, so there aren't so many threads.

When you get to your day 7 and 8, please post them here!

Okay - day 7 I tackled the photo bureau day 1, but quickly realized that I should have divided it into a 3 day project. I also finished day 8: boys' closet/toys.

I need to get caught up! Two elderly neighbors are in the hospital, so I've been getting flowers, dropping them off, calling to check on them, putting newspapers up, and such. And I spent 2 hours having lunch with an 86 year old friend. i need to get back on track, but the closet in the dining room is something I want to avoid! There was mouse poop in it and I need DH's help to get it done. (so grossed out.)

Does ironing for 90 min. count? I'm still working on ironing stuff to put in the kids' closets.

Yes, this absolutely counts!!! And it sounds like you've been very busy with other things. Today I had to clean for an impromptu party/weekend guest, so I didn't do more than a 20-30 minute item on my list, but I cleaned the house and washed sheets, so it still felt productive. I'm a firm believer that as long as you are doing something, it's all good. (and I have a very liberal definition for "something."

I'm incredibly motivated at the moment because I only have about 2.5 months til baby number 3 arrives and a VERY long to-do list in the meantime. Nevermind the fact that I have a goal to be finished with Christmas prep by Thanksgiving to make sure that it all goes off without a hitch! (BTW, that is never going to happen, but I'm dreaming big)

Day 7 for me - I took everything out of the dining room cabinets, dusted the shelves and put things back in. Was on my list for a few years now, so I'm happy for this one!

I'm on a roll! three days in a row :). I'm not 100% done, but the garage is cleaned. I brought out the bin of snow boots and need to get the kids to try them on later. Once that gets put back, I am done. Our snow thrower died last winter, so I got that out so DH can work on repairing it before the snow flies this year.

Day 8 - Making up for lost time. I spent an hour working on various parts of the office and managed to cross off 3 items from my list. Debated putting them as 3 separate days but decided to leave as one as I suspect some other small tasks will crop up.

- Reconfigured the larger items that need to be stored in the office and found corners to tuck them into so they are out of the way.
- Finished organizing books on the bottom of the bookshelf - this task seemed much more daunting when the office was such a mess. Once I actually tackled it, only took 10 min.
- Organized DD's schoolbooks in the office

My goal is to tackle most of the office organizing this week while DH is away so next week when he's back, it will be much more functional. We both work from home and it's a shared space so we really need to have an efficient set-up.

Day 7 - cleaned off the top of my nightstand. Wow, it's so nice to have that space cleared. I feel like a load has been lifted as I no longer have to wake up to a mess every morning. Let's see how long I can keep it that way. Stuff always manages to make its way back onto the nightstand.

Day 8 - DD2 wasn't feeling well, DH was on call at work, so we stayed in today. while the girls watched a movie, I took the opportunity to reorganize our craft closet. Took out my trusty labeler. Now all our craft supplies have a home. And we know where to find it!

Finished 7th item

15. Go through “one size too small” clothes in office closet – spark joy, keep – dispose of rest – DONE 6/5. Kept one item that sparks joy, giving a jean jacket to DS, rest to either Goodwill or more upscale resale (Aunt volunteers and will take for me)

eta: emergency item done, number 8
28. Rejigger purse storage (includes closet partial redo) as the hook I used to hold some up fell down two days in a row – DONE 6/5

LOL - good eye! It's a plastic mouse my kids got a few years ago through Trick-or-Treating. We'll use the mouse to play tricks on each other eg hiding it in unsuspecting places. It's gotten me scared a few times!

Too funny! I don't think I saw this when you first posted the pics. Great job!! I need to do our playroom closet but I'm avoiding it!
