I got a postcard the other day for a class action settlement with Container Store. Something about they took my zip code between June 2009 and Sept 2014. You can get $10 gift card to spend, no minimum.

I feel like there are so many of these out there lately. I got one from JCrew within the past few months, too.

Wow, it's interesting that recording your zip code is illegal in MA. Companies ask that because they use your name from your credit card + your zip to get things like your address for future marketing. But I could swear that other businesses (LL Bean?) ask for my zip when I shop.

I'm pretty sure I've been asked my zipcode in a handful of places I shop at.
