Not sure what to think...

So about 6 weeks ago I started BCP again because my periods have been so heavy, I was skipping the placebo pills (only getting a period 4 times/year), anyways, fast forward to the beginning of this week when I start bleeding. The NP warned me this might happen because I am just starting and not to worry about it just keep taking the pill.

Today I am still bleeding and have passed to clots, that (TMI) don't look like blood, they look like they might be tissue, and am still bleeding.

I called the OB/GYN office and spoke to the same NP I saw before and she wants me to take a home PG test which I will do when I get off work.

She wants me to call and schedule an appt Monday when they open.

We used condoms leading up to me starting BCP and for the first week I was on them, per the pharmacist.

So what do you all think...

Hmm. I read somewhere to use other protection for the first cycle, not just the first week.

It's been a while but I'd always heard the first month too. Hope you are ok.

I took the home PG test and it was negative, but I am still bleeding.

So now I don't know what to think...

I didn't get a chance to call the doc today because I was busy dealing with DD who has croup, but I am going to try and call tomorrow.
