Which boots...or other options

I'm still trying to decide on brown boots. I don't have any, well an old pair of Born knee highs that are very worn. I'm getting khaki cords, so will wear with those, jeans etc. I've got a pair of the sam eldeman penny in black that I love.

Either boots or booties. I have neither and eventually want a brown bootie and brown knee high boot. I'll probably just get 1 pair now then get the other later.

Cute booties, but the heel is too high for me.
