AmEx is running a whole bunch of promotions that involve you connecting your AmEx to your Twitter account, tweeting a particular hashtag to load the offer and then using your AmEx to make a purchase. I just used the Starbucks one to get a gc to load on my gold card. If you do this, pick the Veterans card and Starbucks with donate $5 to veterans.org.
