My daughter has taken to refusing to wear socks. It is becoming such a hassle to get out of the house... I think that I could solve the problem with a pair of shearling boots. I won't pay for UGGs but something reputable would be nice!

There are a great pair of Kirkland ones on the Costco.com site for $20, but they won't ship to a P.O. Box or to Canada so I can't order them! :(

Anyone seen any good deals lately? She is a size 9 or 10 if that helps. Thanks!

Shoot, I was going to suggest the Kirkland ones. My DD has them again this year. I know that there are several good brands on Amazon that are cheaper than Uggs. Can't remember the brand names. I am sure someone else will chime in!

We have been using target for DD2. Her feet are hot when we take those boots off

I just got an ad from Stride Rite that their "warm & cozy" boots will be on sale for $19.99 from 11/21-11/26. It says selected styles but the picture on the ad looks like the Arabella style that retails for $45
