I think different books are available to different zip codes. I specifically searched for the Chester books, and Chester's Back did not show up. I even searched Melanie Watt, and it didn't show up.

I did not need to see this thread! I love kids books and so do my two girls. But I've already gotten them each several books for Christmas, plus am handing down a Nook to DD1. We so do not need more books, but I have a bunch in my cart! In my defense, a few are for my cousin's baby shower, another for a niece, and some are craft books for the girls.

Did anyone see other good deals on the other sites to get to free shipping? I certainly do not need $50 worth of books, DH would faint!

There are still some sale books. I loaded up my cart and then never ordered (trying to decrease impulse buying, LOL!) A bunch of what I had in my cart is out of stock now, but some are still available. Free shipping over $49 and you can combine stuff from their other sites like yoyo.com. Not sure how much the shipping is otherwise.

I have Yes Virginia there is a Santa Clause in my cart. My girls are 6 and 8 and love being read to every night before bed. We've been doing chapter books and they want some Christmas ones. Is that OK for that age? I've only ever seen bits and pieces of the movie and they just watched a 1/2 hr. cartoon version of it from Amazon this weekend and liked it.

I went through the 9 pages of sale books that showed up for me. Then I went and did something else and came back later. When I started back at the beginning, there were new books showing. I also ran into a few pages with a book at full price when it was listed on another page at the sale price. I don't know if it has to do with zipcode, but it was definitely showing different books at different times. It even showed a couple out of stock that were then showing in stock about 30 minutes later.
