Schleich/Papo Castle and or dragon deals

Are there ever any deals on either Schleich or Papo Dragons? Or the Schleich castle? Or are there less expensive dragons? I'd like to get quite a few, but they are so expensive!

Following, these are on DD's list! They are her favorite.

DS1 loves these and has quite the collection. They sell Papo at ACMoore and Michaels so I'll pick one up periodically when they have a 55% or 60% off coupon. Amazon has good deals on them at times also.
This year he asked for one of the knight/horse sets - it was $24.99 at TRU, $19.99 at ACMoore and I found them sold separately on amazon for $5.xx and $6.xx with free shipping.
Two years ago TRU had a sale the week before Christmas of B1G1F on all Schleich so I got him 2 of the $49.99 sets of figures but last year it was only B1G1 50% off.
He got the Melissa and Doug big folding castle to go with all his dragons and knights. He looked at the Schleich one also but preferred the M&D.

Subbing. My kids have always loved Schleich although I haven't really seen Papo around here. We have always gotten them at Michaels (or AC Moore before ours closed....booo). So far DS has not gotten into them the way my girls were so not sure if we need to add to the collection. One of these days I hope he starts playing with toys.

At what age did your DD start playing with these? DD is turning 4 soon and I have a bunch I bought long ago but put away for her.

My son just turned 10 is asking for more knights/dragons etc! He started really getting into them sometime around 8 1/2.
